AI transparency

Updated: July 2026

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Lithuanian version, the Lithuanian version prevails.

1. Who “Aistė” is

kalba.ai provides an AI-driven voice agent called “Aistė”. Aistė makes phone calls automatically, in the language agreed for each campaign (most often Lithuanian): she asks questions, answers them and helps arrange meetings. Aistė is not a person; she is an AI system.

2. You are speaking with artificial intelligence

In line with Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), at the start of every call we clearly say that you are speaking with an AI assistant, not a person. Aistė's voice is synthetic, generated by artificial intelligence.

This information is always given at the start of the conversation, in plain language - we do not hide it or use misleading wording.

3. Call recording

Conversations may be recorded and automatically transcribed for quality assurance and to provide the service. We tell you about this at the start of the call. More on how we process and store data is in our privacy policy.

4. How to opt out of calls

If you no longer want to receive calls, you can opt out at any time:

  • During the call, tell Aistė “remove me” or “don't call me again” - your contact is removed straight away;
  • or email us at labas@kalba.ai.

5. Supervisory authorities

In Lithuania, the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) supervises the EU AI Act and is the main market surveillance authority. For personal data protection, you can also contact the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI).
